Aging test system of high voltage pulse insulation materials
In the process of high frequency power electronic energy conversion, there are sharp rising edge / falling edge pulses and selling changes of different polarity, which make the space charge accumulation effect in insulating materials, and then cause partial discharge, which causes irreversible chemical degradation of insulating materials. Evaluation of insulation performance and aging characteristics of insulation materials under high frequency and fast changing square wave pulse voltage is the key to safe and stable operation of power equipment.
International standards recommend that unipolar or bipolar pulse square wave output with steep rise / fall edge is used as the test power supply for partial discharge of insulating materials.
